The question that really stumped me was:

"What year will the computers think it is when Y2K hit?"

:) Alex Trebek, you outdid yourself!!!

Which question is correct?

What is the year 1900?

What is the year 19100?

What is the year 1910?

What is the year 1972?

The Canadian "Y2K Awareness Campaign" worked like a charm. First, Celine Dion chooses to take a year off, and now the pride of Ontario, Alex Trebek, helps raise the level of awareness among Mensa members (and wannabes). Great, eh?

"The Y2K Bug" answers on Double Jeopardy:

$200 - the basic danger of the bug is that in 2000 computers will think it is this year

$400 - this giant's customers had the big blues until it announced Y2K transition support in 1995

$600 - the bug partly stems from 6 digit dates in this 1960s computer language

$800 - [daily double] - $1300 - to show it's safe, Jane Garvey, head of this administration, plans to be in the air when 2000 arrives

$1,000 - a Time/CNN poll found only 9% of respondents believed Y2K would bring the scenario that is the feature of this song

So you think, maybe, we're going to see an "ER" soon, where they're operating and then the equipment fails as the lights go out?
