Removing money from the market...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

In response to another thread, olding your money in the market for another seek or month (or whatever) is silly. If you are confident that the market will go down (duh), then get out of the way now. What are you going to gain in the next two weeks? Maybe a few percent. What do you risk? A smooth exit if the market turns down. The only stalling I'm doing is when to start seriously shorting the market. The longer I wait, the less "upside risk" (funny term). As a reminder, the Prudent Bear Fund (BEARX) is not a bad way to short the market.

Best regards...

Dave......if that's your name.

I sent a long detailed email to you in re shorting the market, and what I have been doing in that regard.

A good day today.......1410.00 gain per Dow Jones contract..J(short from 11015)

I assume that you are making up the email, now that I look at it.

Too Bad. I put a lot of effort into what I felt was a helpful input to you.

Can't duplicate it here.
