How does one get her poetry published in books?

Hi,

There are books in the Library that give all the details of different magazine and book publishers that are interested in poetry. Look for Writer's Market, and also one on Poetry--can't remember the name. There are also Christian Market guides.

There are also writer's email lists on the net you can plug into. I belong to Kingdom Writers--a Christian list--where we critique each others writing and newsbulletins about contests, etc. are posted as they occur.

BTW, I have 2 web pages of poetry for both adults and kids at the following URL with lots of good links for writers in the adult section and games and stuff for kids in the kids page:

I entered a poem of mine in a yearly contest and almost 1,000 of the entries, including mine, were published in a book Also, you can send your writing to "Chicken Soup" and they may publish you if they like your poem
