The Kodak DC260 has 2 ways to save pictures: jpeg and Flashpix. My understanding is that Flashpix can save the actual picture in a variety of formats, including jpeg. My suspicion is that Kodak uses jpeg inside the Flashpix (the files are about 50% bigger than pure jpeg). My concern is that jpeg is a lossy compression, so that I am losing pixels. Why buy a high-res camera if I can't save all the pixels? I have read all the Kodak info I can get as thoroughly as I can with no answer to this question. Anyone out there know the answer?
