Bill, When and where are the board meetings held and are they open for anyone to attend????

Tom, The board meetings are usually around the 2nd Mon/Tues of the month. We had an open one last week where a bunch of folks came to discuss (ahem) the tryouts. We have one this week to discuss and assign coaches, but I don't know if that one is open. They normally are, but last time we didn't get any work done because there were so many people there. You can usually call the hotline number to see when the next meeting is. They aren't set up too far in advance or well publicized because Doug doesn't often know when he will be in town too far in advance.

Rick, I asked Doug about this and he said that there was no effort that he knew about to build one team versus another. I think Gasper left or something. At our last board meeting we designated coordinators to handle questions for each level from Mite to Midget. The Bantam coordinator is Nancy Fike, so I'd give her a call. She is abreast of the developments at Bantam. Sorry it took so long to answer your question, I put in over 90 hours at the job last week.

BILL, DID YOU ATTEND THE BOARD MEETING LAST NIGHT? RUMOR HAS IT THAT THE BANTAM "B" TEAMS ARE NO LONGER BEING VEIWED AS EQUAL, BUT REALIGNMENT AND RECRUITING TO MAKE ONE A STANDOUT TO THE OTHER. IF TRUE, IT FURTHER MAGNIFIES THE TRYOUT SNAFU AND CONTRADICTS STATEMENTS MADE BY DOUG AT THE LAST BOARD MTG.YOUR THOUGHTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
