I was wondering why Ann Fraser is leaving KPIX-TV? I always enjoyed watching her reports. Is she retiring or was she let go?

I heard she was pursuing her acting career, possibly in N.Y./broadway. I also miss her and would like an update from anyone who knows what she is up to these days. Her voice was used for a small part as a newscaster in the animated film "Nightmare Before Christmas".
