When I started with tubular wheels, back in 73, the big rim makers were Mavic, Super Champion (wolber?), Rigida, Fiamme. My Fuji came with Ukai rims. Mavic is still big today -- but what about some of the others. Are some of the names around today descended from older names? I wonder about FiR, for example, which looks like it stands for something.
