Response to how the INP are verified ??

from Chad (churritz@crash.cts.com)
input files are "confirmed" by trying to run mame -playback file.inp and if the playedback mame plays back to the score submited, the recording is confirmed. Sometimes this is not easy because certain settings used when recording a inp file must be specificall set when playing back the file to get it to playback to the exact score intended.

Inps are also "verified" for certain forms of cheating (slowdowns and autofire) by the editors. But i'm not sure what you mean "to be sure it's not an old one with a big score just take on the net???"
