A lesson in searching the MARP database...(posted 8944 days ago)FYI, it turns out that you can use '%' in a search string to mean 'any number of characters', so searching for
loud%prototypefinds "Cloud 9 (prototype)" recordings. You can also put a '^' at the beginning of your search and/or a '$' at the end to ensure that the string you search for matches at the beginning and/or end of the field you are matching. For example, searching for
^a%e%i%o%u$will find the only game whose name begins with an 'a', ends with a 'u' and contains all the vowels in alphabetical order. It is, of course, the famous "Aggressors of Dark Kombat / Tsuukai GANGAN Koushinkyoku". :o)
