For many people it's not a case of not having the 'patients' to wait for an official release. I used StretchMAME32 because I like the stretched full screen image, being a Windows app it supports my USB stick (DOS mame doesn't), and I will continue to use it until the official MAME32 supports fullscreen stretch modes (if ever).(posted 9063 days ago)And don't forget- tgmame is an unoffical version of MAME as well.
