Thinking of buying a Saab need Mechanic in San Diego

I am looking at a couple of used (previously owned) Saabs. Does anyone know a good mechanic in San Diego that can check compression and etc. I can take apart a computer but I don't know a thing about cars so I really need a good one! Any recommendations about particular models and/or years would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!. ET
