I'd first start off by saying this vote should boil down to either 300 seconds or unlimited time. 150 seconds is not an option as it's not even the default (as you all know it's 300 sec). Finally, taking an average or meeting somewhere in between is silly. That's like saying Gore should be in office for the next 2 years and then Bush can take over for the last two! Remember simple majority wins so every vote counts...
