The time limit was put by Nintendo in the original boards just to suck people's money - I don't see why we should care of a time limit, if in almost all games currently supported (I didn't play them all yet) you get a game over when you lose all of your lives, just like the any other arcade game.(posted 9218 days ago)So my vote goes to option #2.
