The reason why TG settings is suggested is because in the event Twin Galaxies uses a section in their 2nd edition of the book of world records for mame scores, the games they pull from will have to be played on these settings or their not official. TG came up with settings on games since the early 80's for specific reasons. Some of them may be subject to change but only TG can do that. Some games do use the default settings but the ones that don't need to be played on the right settings or else they won't be considered for the next book.(posted 9246 days ago)Regards, Steve Krogman
