Yes, this subject was brought up some time ago when Nicola decided that the gambling games were no longer appropriate to be included in MAME. If I recall correctly, the majority of those who responded felt that the gambling games were fairly weak games inasfar as showing a player's video game skills. I participated in submitting inps for some of these games, however I fully understand the objections of those who felt that deletion of these games was needed. Delete 'em...I really don't care. And neither did I whine about having my Track and Field/ Hypersports scores being deleted...I didn't agree with it, but I respected the majority rule as this is the essence of "democracy", isn't it? And I believe that democracy was in practice with regards to the gambling games vote. Some MARPers just decided not to participate or simply didn't notice. That's really not anyone's fault but their own in that case. So, ease up on Q.T. about him being the "only decider". He's not and never will be. As a matter of fact, Q.T. and Gameboy9 go to great lengths to make most every decision involving MARP "democratic".(posted 9401 days ago)As far as Q.T.'s allegations, I think I've clearly stated my position a few months ago. It has been one of the factors that has contributed to my absence at T3 and MARP in general.
