There seems to be a little confusion of the Bubble Bobble codes (well, it seems a little confusing to me).(posted 9592 days ago)The codes are entered on the title screen, one at a time. From what I understand, bubble used the Super code only, without either the Power Up, or Original Game codes. Note that I haven't watched the INP yet. Super does not give you all the bonus rooms, that is Original Game. And you never finish the game unless you have two players finish round 100. Also Super gives you the "true ending" as well.
Super Bobble Bobble has a DIP switch setting for Super mode, but the other sets do not.
I have no problem with the recording so long as no DIP switch settings have been changed. Using a code built into the game is fine by me...
I can just see the whole hidden SFZ characters issue coming up again...
