"ther's awolf inside me..or menagerie."

I am looking for a poem containing the ideas... "there's a wolf inside me," or a "menagerie". It has been suggested that it might be a Carl Sandburg title, but I've had no luck searching that way. I appreciate that the details are very vague, but I know that there are some encyclopedic minds out there! Any l;eads would be gratefully accepted. Denise.
