Census? (Privacy Issue)

Well this is the first time we got a cencus form , what a shock .Yes I agree there should be one to divide OUR money to needy areas.I was a fool .Our privacy is protected by law "title 13" this same law requires us to fill it out .I would not mind The # and ages even sexes of the people living in the household.But tell me why they need our names , birthdays , and addresses? The Goverment has not told the truth many times before so why should we believe them now?I also understand some people got a long form with all kind of ?'s.I was just wondering how everyone else feels?
