1943 powerup codes?

I'm just wondering, are the powerup codes in 1943 that you can do at the beginning of a level "legal" for MARP recordings? For those wondering, these are the codes.... simply hold down the direction and/or button when you're taking off from the aircraft carrier until the level begins and you can take control of your ship. Stage 1: Down
Stage 2: Button 1
Stage 3: Up-Right + Button 1 + Button 2
Stage 4: Down-Left + Button 2 Stage 5: Button 1 Stage 6: Left Stage 7: Up-Left Stage 8: Left + Button 1 + Button 2 Stage 9: Down-Right + Button 1 + Button 2 Stage 10: Up-Right + Button 2 Stage 11: Up-Left Stage 12: Right + Button 1 + Button 2 Stage 13: Up Stage 14: Up-Left + Button 1 + Button 2 Stage 15: Down-Right + Button 1 Stage 16: ???
