Response to playback problems

The real question is did your friend delete the nvram file before they recorded? if they didn't you need their nvram file they had before they recorded the game before you can play it back properly. Sometimes default nvram files will do, but sometimes you need THE nvram file it was recorded with. Also it may matter what frameskip it was recoded with and what frameskip it's played back with... let us know if this helps.
