It's not that he was lowering the skip rate, the Frame Rate of the recordings seemed to be too low. Autoframeskip WILL increase the framerate and bring it as close to 100 as possible, and probably increase the frame skip rate of a slower computer.(posted 9185 days ago)Turning off sound is a great idea too but not all games are faster with sound off, pc10 comes to mind.
