The recent Olympics in Sydney(remember... the greatest games ever! And I'm quoting this from the US...) gave me this idea...(posted 9205 days ago)I want your opinion on this question(and I've asked several people about this already):
What do you think of having a MAME Olympiad hosted here in replacement / complatement(I just made that word up - means in addition to) the 6th or 7th MARP Tournament?
The idea of this would be that we'd have 5 games for every 2 weeks we'd have this olympiad. Play as much or as little as you'd like.
We'd give out gold/silver/bronze(or maybe platinum/gold/silver/bronze/wood?) somethings.(joysticks?)
This would be unique because you'd be playing a little more for your country than yourself.
I've already talked to eight people about this - and they've supported this idea to my knowledge. I'm thinking of putting this to action anywhere between February and June of 2001.
I await your opinions.
