Like BBH, I too have been here for around two years, not that I upload all that often. But it still represents those two years or so, and to say that it's worthless, it makes you wonder "what's the point?"(posted 9294 days ago)I also agree that XMAME is a lot easier to compile than MAME, most required parts are included in most distributions. XMAME doesn't use either Allegro or SEAL, so they aren't needed.
But don't forget the foreign language versions of MAME out there, not everyone actually speaks english (like SNK :))
