Response to Somebody please check my .INP files!!!

Here is my real problem: I can't use the official version of mame (dos) because my pc can't stand it! I don't know why, but if I try to run it, the computer resets... this doesn't happen with windoze version, so I am forced to use it. Since the official MAME32 is still stuck on v. 0.36final (if I remember correctly), I am forced to download an unofficial version if I want to play the latest games... I don't know the cause of my problem (but I suspect my viedo card knows something about thta...), if anyone has useful suggestions to give... keep in mind that's not a troublem I have with MAME only, I have experienced it with other DOS emus and older games.
