Response to How long can eggs be kept?
from Jean (schiszik@tbcnet.com)
We always have dozens on hand at a time and I always try to use the
oldest first. I have never found a bad egg not even ones weeks old.
I boiled up a couple dozen of the floaters to give to the cats and
dog and even they seemed fine. I know people that sell eggs and they
claim even five months old is okay. BTW, I do always crack them
separately before use, just in case.
