The reason I posted the original group voting technique, was to show that a few players could manipulate the tournament voting.(posted 9556 days ago)If only the top 30 games are in the random pool, a few players still have a chance to manipulate the random pool.
There are quite a few games below the 30 mark that would be great for a tournament. There are also quite a few in the top 30 that in my opiniun would not be good in a tournament.
Why not draw the random games from all the games submitted, removing any obvious games that should not not be in a tournament.
