I recently talked about this with Pat Laffaye and Donut - and we agreed that using MAME 36 beta 1 is ok - BUT you are taking a risk - i.e., if it does not playback using MAME 35 FINAL, it's a bad recording, regardless of wheater or not it played back with m36b1 successfully or not. If it plays back with MAME 35 FINAL, then we'll fix the version to reflect it - no harm, no foul.(posted 9633 days ago)So my point is - I suggest you use MAME 35 FINAL to be on the safe side.
