Response to Casey, if your reading this, eyeliner?
from Valeri Pervo (val448@wildmail.com)
Okay, this is one of my pet peeves: your is a possesive pronoun, as
in your dog, your cat, your eyeliner, etc. You're is a contraction of
you are, as in "Casey, if you're reading this, eyeliner?" I would
forgive the fact that that is not a complete sentence if you would
please just remember your (note the correct usage) second grade
grammar. Unless, of course, you're (note again the correct usage)
younger than that, in which case you shouldn't be attracted to boys.
Thanks!
