what you could do is use a vehicle and go at them like that. afterall AP is no longer cumulative. that way he has a choice. take out the vehicle or take out the squads you have. also if you face point problems with the vehicle then use cheap troops. tacticle squads: 15 per man + ___ for heavy weapon. i suuggest the H bolter. also you could try using a few terminators and use deep strike w/an assult cannon. there's lots of thing you could do. be creative. i've been through this problem before. i now how annoying it is.
