"From" the eyes of Krogman. :)

from Stephen Krogman (skrogman@concentric.net)
It would be really interesting to actually watch someone achieve a speed of 1500cm or higher on TF. I know that there was only 1 guy that legitimately can alternate his fingers in an ungodly manner. His name was Kelly and he has the world record of 95K and change. I myself have played many games with a joystick as a substitute for the buttons which I don't think is a method of cheating because it requires pursise timing otherwise it's no different in fact worse then using the buttons. My best score is around 93K and change and came close to 1500cm but never maxed it out or went over. A few friends of mine (Billy Mitchell-DK champ and a friend of his) back in the days hooked up a computer generated pulse to the buttons and was achieving speeds not to much higher then what that guy was getting. On some events, the computer did some ungodly results, like the high jump where they had the hight up to somewhere around 4.50 meters. You basically could jump between the bar and a space that formed once you reached hights above 2:52. If the inp is legit, then hats off to that guy who did it. So far, he has the 2nd highest score recorded in the world that I know of. Regards, SMK
