business cycles

am having problems tackling this question and would be greatful if anybody could offer help. the question is as follows: ' while there is general agreement that trade/business is associated with the cyclical fluctuations in aggregate economic activity, there appears to be differences as to the type and nature and causes of such fluctuations and the type and timeliness of policies applied to address critical economic issues during particular stages of the cycle'. critically discuss
