I am in the process of restoring a No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie. It would appear to be a post-1919 model, judging by the rounded ends and shallow S latch foot. The serial number is 845988, which I am guessing probably dates it to the latter part of production. I bought it on a whim at an antiques shop for cheap and decided it might be fun to see if I could rehabilitate it to actually take pictures again!(posted 7143 days ago)I have replaced the bellows (which were pinholed) with vintage ones and found an instruction manual from 1923. What I am still missing and would like to find in vintage form would be the following:
Ground glass piece for the sight. The mirror housing is intact, but the ground glass is missing.
Cable release.
Stylus. I'm guessing that this would probably have been the first thing to get lost. But I'm wondering if there aren't any floating around out there for sale?
