Get a mac, powermac G5, either 1.8, 2.0 or 2.5 ghz dual processor. Get final cut pro HD. If your really serious, get Avid DV or better and get the avid MOJO add on for real time rendering, but FCP should do you fine.(posted 7148 days ago)Get a GIG of memory at minimum and depending on how much you can afford an ATI Radeon 9600 or better card. I use a 9000 radeon in my mac, and it's fine but a little outdated.
