Voluntary six year rule

My wife and her ex husband had a mortgage with national home loans now Paragon i issued SARN and first contact with her was after 9 years i have letter from L.O.M. Ltd on behalf of Paragon stating they belong to Council of Mortgage lenders we are currently divorcing and she is on benefits can anyone please advise where she stands regarding C of Ms voluntary six year rule
