Home Inprovement Loans and Mortgage Shotfall

Hi

Am being taken to court by the lender, just had the first court letter.

Have done everything this site has advised me.

If the mortgage is made up of different accounts, and some of those accounts are classed as home inprovement loans would they be classed as a mortgage shortfall, one even comes under the consumer credit act?

Also why is it so important to have a copy of the mortgage deed?
