If you were the subject of a repo as you say and the bank/building society have not contacted you for 6 years and are Member of the Council of Mortgage Lenders then go the normal route and visit your local Estate Agents the same as everybody else does.(posted 7764 days ago)If however they have contacted and are chasing I would advise strongly against purchasing any property as the lender is obviously more likely to chase you if they have the chance of placing a charge on your property.
