Response to Do they take the endowment policy when they reposess?

My policy wasn't assigned directly to the Lender - but they took it anyway. It was assigned to the Insurance Co providing the top up loan to 100% - apparently the Lender can claim it where they have the mortgage to which the 2nd loan relates. Something to do with land and property and titles - can't remember what exactly. I did query it and was politely told to shove off.
