Response to Progressive scanning with Sony

Sonys cameras don't shoot progressive at 25 (PAL) or 30 (NTSC) frames per second. It's 1/2 the frame rates of the formentioned framerates. The footage is unaturally strobey and grainy as a rule on all Sony cameras I've seen it on (I own a Sony VX2000E). Just save up for a Sony CineAlta ($100,000), that way you get true progressive 24fps!
