Response to time laps

from David J. Button (davidjohnbutton@supanet.com)
Depending on the workload of repossession hearings at the local county court for your area, it is between six and eight weeks generally. It can be shorter if the solicitors manage to get a hearing date earlier than that but time has to be given for the summons to be served and for the defendant to answer - so generally the date upon which there will be a hearing will be endorsed on the summons by the court.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU GO TO THE HEARING OTHERWISE THE JUDGE WILL SIMPLY MAKE AN IMMEDIATE POSSESSION ORDER AND WILL NOT SUSPEND IT
