Sounds like you have/had a very friendly landlord Lisa. As already
pointed out this is a UK site for victims of house / flat
repossessions and doesn't deal with the US.
In your shoes I think I'd look at renting a trailer for a couple of
weeks until the new house is ready, or buy a tent.
