Twelve of Brett Weston's negatives survive. They are donated to the Center for Creative Photography in Arizona for students to learn to print from. I bet there are a lot more than 12 negatives. Brett burned/soaked many, but not all of his negs when he turned 80. But he kept photographing almost until he died several years later, and (even if he had slowed down considerably) knowing how prolific he was that probably amounted to several hundred frames at least. I've never heard that anyone destroyed those.
