Response to repossessed properties

I personally could not afford a house at todays prices so if i can buy a house which is for sale cheap for any reason I would be a fool to rent a house for the rest of my life if theres a possibility of buying my own. I feel for those who have theitr home repossed but the ridiculous prices of houses do not allow many alternatives for me. I dont think its cruel to buy a reposessed house.
