I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this. I purchased a numbers matching '66 GTO last year and am in the process of doing a frame off restoration on it. It is getting close to to the paint stage. The car had been repainted a non-stock colour at some point in it's life. I want to make sure that I get the car completely back to stock. I have two questions. Is the fire wall and hood bottom supposed to be black or do they get painted the same colour as the exterior? Also, the interior colour on the metal surfaces - I would assume that it is supposed to be the same colour that the exterior is, but I wanted to make sure that I'm right on my assumtion or if it gets painted to match the vinyl. Does anyone know? Any help that I can get on this would be appreciated.(posted 8039 days ago)Thanks Glen
