Great to read your posting above - I'm really looking forward to the programme. It will be interesting to hear the Halifax's reaction/response. When all is said and done under-selling is not confined to just that one particular lender. Judging by the postings on this site - it is endemic behaviour of a very high number of lenders involved in repossession cases. They then go on to add insult, (in the form of the MIG scandals that occur),to the deep and outrageous injury already caused to the borrower who has been dis- possessed.(posted 8081 days ago)The Halifax manager you mention who possibly could be said to have 'helped himself' to a very cheap property - isn't he from around the Cheltenham area, or am I mistaken ? Anyway, WHERE-EVER you are in the UK and you look at what the Halifax and others appear to be tolerating in instances of that nature -you can really SMELL it can't you?
What the offending lenders don't seem to realise is that by their blatant, arrogant disregard of compliance with the B.Soc Act's requirements in respect of selling prices, they have, in fact, grasped a very fierce tiger by the tail!
I don't know about you folks, but I'm all for feeding the tiger as much raw meat as possible.
