Response to anti antialiasing on mame
from Barry Rodewald (bsr@hnpl.net)
Of course, all NVidia cards (at least TNT/GeForce cards) can use
custom resolutions, so long as it's a multiple of 4. This means you
can use full screen resolutions of 384x224 for CPS1/2 games, and so
on. This of course means that you can avoid the hardware filtering.
Quite why some people get so uptight about bilinear filtering is
beyond me, it gives a better arcade feeling, a lot more so than the
extremely sharp PC monitor would.
