I posted a short while back that my husband is being chased by Addleshaw & Booth on behalf of the Halifax for a shortfall of 30k on his flat from about 8 or 9 years ago. I know that the 6 yr rule thing may apply so we are trying to get as much info as possible before finding out wheer we stand. Husband wrote them a letter (not making any claim to the debt) basically asking them who they were, how do we know their claim is genuine and proof for the amount of the claim.(posted 8092 days ago)It has now been 3 weeks and we havent heard a thing. We have since found out about SARNs and want to slap one of them onto them if they dont send us enough information.
Also , we got a copy of husbands credit file a few months ago and the debt has been removed from it!!!
