I recently started processing my TMax in a Paterson orbital processor. It had worked well for Fp4 but since using TMax I have had a problem with a grid effect left on the non emulsion side matching the groove pattern that I had put on the bottom of the processor. It looks like crinkle varnish finish between the channels - possibly where the negatives 'stick' to the base of the processor. Its invisible when the negatives are wet.(posted 8155 days ago)Chemistry is PMK. I switched at the same sort of time to PMK from perceptol so it could be the chemistry and some weird edge effect but I wouldnt have expected that on the non-emulsion side.
I have tried re-fixing in a deep tank but cant get rid of the effect. Any thoughts as to what this might be and how to get rid of the problem ?
Its very reproducable :-(
Thanks
