Plot or lonegunman

As a french people I guess myself why the debate is still open between the lone gunman partisans and the conspiracy buffs. It seemed to to me that the question was definitely out of time as the HSCA pointed out in 1978 the great likelihood (more than 95%) of a second gunner acting. So the good question which still remain is: Why and with who did Lee Harvey Oswald kill the President.
