I just bought a beautiful vintage B&J, weith natural maple wood (no paint), 5x7 field view cmaera w/Schneider 210mm lens for a great price, and "The Room and the Shovel" would be a perfect subject for that camera.(posted 8165 days ago)That's kind of what I do when I'm not taking people photography.
In truth, my "people" photography is mostly at weddings...they pay to be photographed!
I'm too shy to walk up to strangers on the street and take their portrait!
I wonder if the 5x7 would help with that problem (a la Avedon "American West"...really, I usually attract a big crowd and perhaps a few people would actually pose! Any thoughts on large format street photography!!!
