Response to No people in this image BUT...

I posted the very first comment on this forum when it was started. I did not post a photo. The original intent of this forum was to exchange ideas about photographing people. Then, some of us started trying to use HTML's and hosting services to post images. Now, almost all of us are posting images. This forum is truly a gallery of people photography. It is more of a gallery than a technique forum...great. Now then: I think, as you think...we don't always have to have a living person in the photo itself for it to be a "people" photograph. I recently posted an image of a bronze statue of a Native American at a mission in California, who symbolizes thousands of living people who have since passed on. I think that is a "people" photo just as yours is. I hope we can continue to look at it in that way, and expand our horizons and imaginations in that regard. Nice job.
